Warehouse Supervisor

Our client based in Dagenham is seeking experienced Warehouse Supervisor to strengthen their team.

Role Purpose:

To ensure all products are finished to a high standard and packed with care ready for dispatch on time to fulfil customer requirements by managing the packing operatives. Ensuring that the production line meets the BSC accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following all company guidelines
  • Handling products with care and attention to detail
  • Ensuring that each product meets specifics of the customer order in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all items are Cleaned, wrapped, bagged, stacked, packed and correctly labelled for shipment or storage
  • Ensuring all Packing operatives follow all Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensuring all Packing operatives follow BSC Personal Protective Equipment guidelines
  • Performing quality control checks and reporting any issues immediately to the production manager
  • Report any mechanical issues immediately to the production manager

Requirements and Experience:

  • Supervising a small team of 12 staff
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Critical thinking
  • Ability to prioritise work and effective time management
  • Proven Leadership skills, including conflict resolution
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works well as part of a team

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, day shift

Salary: £12-£14 depending on experience

  • 28 days Annual Leave including bank holidays
