Our client based in Crayford is seeking an experienced Reach Forklift driver / Warehouse operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
Warehouse duties:
- Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
- Operating Reach truck and stand on pallet truck
- Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
- Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
- Work with a team and support the team when needed
- Load goods for dispatch
- Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
- Keep accurate stock records
- Carry out stock counts as and when required
- Keep paperwork up to date
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Ad warehouse hoc duties
Key attributes:
- Valid Reach forklift licence must be from a recognised body (not inhouse)
- Experience with stand on pallet trucks (T20)
- Health and safety aware
- Team Player
- Self-motivated
- Good attention to details
- Working without supervision
- Good communications skills
- Good numeric skills
Night shifts are: 4 days on / 4 days off rota
Shift time 5.00pm – 5.00am
£12.50 hourly pay rate plus an £8.00 night shift supplement paid per shift (equivalent to £13.23) and £15.63 overtime rate
