We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding client based at their new site in Dartford, they are looking for experienced delivery drivers to join their team.
You should have a minimum of 3 years driving experience in a similar role, drivers must be physically fit to be able to unload their vehicle, presentable and possess great customer service. Able to complete vehicle check, you will have up to 10/12 drops per day and round must be completed. If any days there are fewer drops on your round you will be able to finish early and still be paid for your full shift.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid, clean, and in date driving licence that enables you to drive a 3.5T vehicle
- You should possess a degree of physical fitness as there will be loading and unloading of goods involved
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of local and surrounding areas
- Good communication skills with great customer service
- Good knowledge of health and safety
- Personable, professional and be able to create a rapport with customers and colleagues alike
- Team player
- Plain black clothing and PPE required
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed
Hourly rate £12.25
Hours are Monday to Friday (with flexibility to work 1 weekend in 6 IF required), start 6am until route is finished (anywhere from 11am to 5pm finish on average)
This is a long term ongoing position.
