Warehouse Food Production Quality Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy client, they are looking for a number of staff to join their quality control team in their warehouse based in Crayford and strengthen their team.
All candidates must be able to work with computer’s and possess basic speaking and written English. Good attention to detail is a must and fruit knowledge would be of benefit, but this is not essential as training will be provided.
Role:
Duties will vary across areas: you will be required to check quality of products, check weights and assist in destructive testing, record and report, use of computers, control quality of the product throughout packing and despatch process, highlighting any non-conformity or issues. Any ad-hoc duties as requested. Identify any potential issues with the product and immediately alert relevant teams. Control quality of the product throughout packing and despatch process. This roles are completed within chilled environment. You must be able to take instruction well as very strict hygiene rules must be obeyed at all times. You should be aware of Health and Safety in a warehouse environment.

Salary:
Induction pay starting at £10.42, you will be reviewed and your skill level assessed with a view to increase to the level QA1. The rates can increase up to level QA3 £12.00, this depends or your skill shown.
Day shift: starting salary £10.42 per hour
Days, shifts are: 4 days on / 4 days off
Shift time 7am-7pm
