An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding client at their head office wholesale site in Enfield. They are seeking experienced Warehouse Picker & Packer to join their friendly team on a temporary basis.
If you are an organised individual, who is hard-working, reliable and loves to work as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. They are a fast-growing company that pride themselves on their friendly, and welcoming working environment. You will be required to have a basic knowledge of computers and experience picking and packing to fulfil this position. Full in-house training will be provided by their skilled staff members.
Main Duties
- Picking and Packing customer orders using a hand held scanner.
- Checking and maintaining incoming stock.
- Organising the warehouse as to the wishes of the warehouse manager.
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Being able to work as part of a team within the company.
- This role is physically demanding, you are on your feet all day with physical activity required throughout the day.
- Computer literate.
- Good communication skills.
- Can do attitude, and a willingness to help around the warehouse wherever needed
Key Skills
- Must have picking/packing experience
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Physically fit as this role can be demanding
- Reliable, committed, and hard-working
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Great communication skills with a good level of English and Maths
- Team player, able to work well in a team setting to achieve goals
- Great attention to detail
Salary:
Hourly pay £12.50. Overtime rate £18.75 will be applicable in AWR (after 12 weeks) over basic hours and on Sundays
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 6.00pm, Fridays 9.00am – 5.00pm, Sundays 10.00am – 2.00pm
