Our client based in Erith is seeking experienced Production Line Operatives to join them on an ongoing basis.
Your duties may include:
- working in a busy and clean working environment with high standard of hygiene and safety
- checking and controlling the machinery that processes the food
- making sure the production line has a constant supply of raw materials or ingredients
- checking the quality
- keeping the workplace clean and tidy and fulfil the housekeeping and hygiene after the daily production
- reporting any problem or incident to the team leader and factory supervisor, or quality controller immediately
Candidate should ideally have the following:
- the ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures
- accuracy and attention to detail
- good team working skills and the ability to work individually
- a good understanding of health and safety and basic hygiene rules
- a willingness to work flexibly due to the timetable
Shift is Monday to Thursday, 7am – till finish
Salary: Starting at £10.76 - subject to good attendance and performance a permanent contract is awarded after 12 weeks with salary increase to £11.50
