Operations Support Agent & Transport Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-known distribution company based in Crayford. We have an opening available for capable capable, energetic Operational Support Agent to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
The main duties of this role will be answering phones, liaise with customers and drivers, responding to parcel enquiries, and driver debrief. You will offer support to their transport team whilst contributing to the day-to-day running of the department.
Duties, but not limited to:
- Driver debrief
- Answering telephone
- Liaise with distribution teams to ensure high quality service
- Uphold high standards of service
- Checking delivery status and handling parcel enquiries
- Liaising with both customers and drivers
- General administration tasks
Candidate requirements:
- Organised
- Excellent customer service
- High attention to detail
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Making sound decisions under pressure while remaining calm
- Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Previous Transport Clerk/Administrator experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Salary:
Hourly pay rate £13.42, and an additional £1.44 night rate that’s added from 7pm
Shift is Monday to Friday, 11.00am – 8.00pm

This role is permanent after 12 weeks subject to satisfactory performance and attendance.
