Counterbalance Forklift Driver Nights

Our client based in Crayford is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift driver / Warehouse operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
Warehouse duties:
·Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
Use of Counterbalance and stand on pallet truck
·Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
·Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
·Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
·Work with a team and support the team when needed
·Load goods for dispatch
·Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
·Keep accurate stock records
·Carry out stock counts as and when required
·Keep paperwork up to date
·Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
·Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
·Ad warehouse hoc duties
Key attributes:
·Valid Counterbalance forklift licence must be from a recognised body (not inhouse)
Experience using T20 stand on pallet truck
·Health and safety aware
·Team Player
·Self-motivated
·Good attention to details
·Working without supervision
·Good communications skills
·Good numeric skills
Day shifts are: 4 days on / 4 days off rota
Shift time 5pm-5am
£11.50 hourly pay rate (plus an £8.00 night shift supplement paid per shift, equivalent to £12.23) and £14.38 overtime rate

- Crayford, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Stand on pallet truck: 1 year (preferred)
- Counterbalance forklift: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Counterbalance Forklift certificate (not in-house issued) (required)
