We have a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established client based in Orpington, they are looking for an experienced Goods In Counterbalance forklift driver to join their friendly team.
We are seeking candidates that are real team players and ready to ‘muck in’ wherever needed with a positive, helpful, attitude to work.
Responsibilities:
- Offloading of deliveries
- Loading vehicles
- Receipt, collation and organising of goods
- Using software to record deliveries
- Stock and inventory control
- Ordering of consumables
- Forklift Safety Checks
- Waste Management
- General warehouse housekeeping including yard
Requirements:
- Counterbalance Forklift licence essential (in-house not accepted)
- Good level of English and Maths
- Clear communication
- Reliable and a team player
- Experience in a similar role
- Computer literate and familiar with inventory systems
- PPE: Safety shoes and hi-vis vest must be worn on site
Hourly pay rate £13.50
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm
- 28 days annual leave inclusive of 8 bank holidays
