Transport Operations Administrator

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our national client at their site in Crayford. They are looking for Transport Operations Administrator to strengthen their friendly team.

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day operation, including customer enquiries, shipment investigations, failed delivery/collection management, driver pre and debrief, data entry and communication with drivers, customers and other sites.

The successful candidates will need to be:

  • Competent and confident using computers and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Comfortable working with data, emails and internal systems
  • Able to work independently and use their own initiative
  • Equally comfortable working as part of a wider operational team
  • Strong communicators with good attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Reliable, professional and willing to learn
  • Able to follow processes and controls accurately

We are looking for candidates who are capable, motivated, with a can-do attitude that will show the potential to become permanent members of the team in the future. If you are a real team player, committed and reliable, have experience of working to deadlines in a busy environment and are confident to use your own initiative we want to hear from you. Provided you can undertake and learn new tasks quickly then training can be provided on systems and process to debrief drivers.

Salary:

Hourly pay rates:

6am – 7pm £14.02. After 12 weeks overtime applicable £21.03

7pm-10pm £15.52. After 12 weeks overtime applicable £23.29

Days are Monday to Friday.

Two positions available, 6am-3pm and 11am – 8pm (8 hour paid shift, 1-hour unpaid break)
